Chicago Jazz Magazine is the official publisher of the city of Chicago's Blues Festival and Jazz Festival programs.
The Chicago Blues Festival is the largest free blues festival in the world. Over 750,000 people attend the four-day event held on the second weekend of June each year. The program is distributed free throughout event by the city of Chicago, the Mayor's Office of Special Events and at the Chicago Jazz Magazine booth.
The Chicago Jazz Festival is the oldest of Chicago's outdoor festivals. The Jazz Festival is held in Grant Park during Labor Day weekend each year. The Chicago Jazz Festival is the largest jazz concert of the year in Chicago with over 350,000 attending the four day event.
The official program is inserted inside copies of Chicago Jazz Magazine and distributed free from the Chicago Jazz Magazine booth, an also from the Mayor's office of Special Events booths and from the city of Chicago's information booth.
For the past three years Chicago Jazz Magazine has provided in-depth coverage of the Jazz festival making the Jazz Fest issue a much sought after item at the Fest. Because of the demand, thousands of additional copies will again be passed out again this year.
